Lake Country Rentals is officially one year old, and what a year it has been.

Our young company is fueled by the passion of our owners, Trent & Mary Anne Larson who are inspired by the wondrous province we are so fortunate to live in & experience.
Trent was born and raised in Prince Albert, Sk.  He spent much of his youth snowmobiling, riding ATVs, hunting, fishing and spending time at the family cabin.  He loves being outdoors spending time with friends and family.
He came up with the idea to start a recreational vehicle rental company when he saw a need in the market.  There are no rental companies like this north of Saskatoon.  He wanted to meet the needs of that customer who either doesn’t want the hassle of ownership, only has use for equipment on an infrequent basis, or can’t afford to purchase but still wants to enjoy the outdoors.  He also thought it was a great way to reconnect with the community he loved growing up.
MaryAnne has been fascinated with the idea of crafting a fabulous life of amazing experiences that is also responsible financially and careful with the earth’s resources. People like Mary Anne want an authentic experience that connects us to our community but at the same time reduces waste and is convenient.

Lake Country Rentals is 1-year-old!  Our first rental went out in February 2015.  Little did we know then that the year ahead would be filled with steep learning curves and delightful surprises.

Trent was already an old pro when it came to the knowledge and operation of the equipment.  He was already familiar with estimates and invoices and was used to dealing with the public.  MaryAnne?  Not so much!  Learning how to inspect and operate snowmobiles, ATVs, UTVs, boats and PWC was overwhelming at times.  Not to mention becoming educated in hooking up trailers, loading sometimes 5 machines at once, and tying them down (tie downs were invented by a madman) so I could travel safely.  I surprised myself at my willingness to learn and tenacity when things didn’t work out the way they were supposed to.
Our Customers have totally amazed us.  They booked with us and gave us their money when they found us on Kijiji before we even had a website! We remained busy despite the northern fires and lack of snow this winter.  Our customers have provided us with useful feedback and have been sincerely interested in learning how to operate the equipment safely.

We are constantly in awe of this beautiful province!! Our beloved Saskatchewan never ceases to amaze us with its rugged beauty, pristine lakes and warm and friendly people.
